Safety First! When going outdoors, don't forget to blow out the candles. Better safe than sorry with unexpected "fireworks" at home!

A fragrance that delights, and safety that protects. While enjoying the scent of the candles, ensure that the flame is always monitored and kept at a safe distance from all flammable objects, small hands, or paws.

Fire and fabric are not friends! Keep burning candles away from bedding, curtains, and other fabrics that can easily catch fire in your home.
A safe distance is usually at least 30 cm from any flammable object.

Maintain distance between candles! Place them at a safe distance from each other so they burn evenly and do not pose a fire hazard.

  • Let the wax melt to the edges

Each time you use it, allow the entire top layer of wax to melt from edge to edge. If the wax does not melt evenly, a "tunnel" may form, and wax will remain unused along the edges of the container.
We recommend burning the candle for 2–4 hours at a time (depending on the size).

  • Get the doctor

Always (we emphasize – always!) trim the wick to about 5-10 mm before each use. This will ensure cleaner burning and a longer candle life. If the wick is too long, it can create black burn marks on the glass and produce more soot.
We recommend purchasing a wick trimmer – its curved shape allows easy access to any container and makes a clean cut while capturing the trimmed part.

  • Shop with confidence

Burn the candle in a well-ventilated area, away from drafts or air currents, to avoid uneven burning and smoking. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children and pets.
Extinguish the candle if it repeatedly smokes, flickers, or the flame is too high.

  • Burning of Tīra

Make sure there are no wick trimmings, matches, or other debris in the wax. We recommend not burning the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. After 4 hours, the candle becomes too hot, the aromatic oil starts to evaporate, and the wax burns out faster.

  • Center the wick

After extinguishing the candle (we recommend using a candle snuffer), while the wax is still melted, carefully recenter and straighten the wick if it has shifted during use.
The snuffer will extinguish the flame without smoke, cutting off the oxygen supply to the flame.

  • Stop using

Candles should no longer be burned when there is about 1 cm of wax left at the bottom of the container. Sad to say goodbye? Keep a few of your favorite candles in reserve so the scent never runs out! You can clean out the empty container and reuse it or recycle it.
